Compassion
“The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made.” (Psalm 145:8-9)
“There is a heaviness covering the world because so many people have had sadness that has been beyond their control. They have suffered deaths of loved ones. There have been illnesses that have changed lives. No one has escaped heartbreak.
You are aware that I see every tear and want to comfort everyone no matter who they are, correct? In fact, some people don’t even shed tears, but I see their sadness bottled inside.
I want to stretch your faith to realize that I can use you in everyone’s life. For example, you don’t need an understanding of heroin to speak to the person who is addicted to heroin. All you need is My Compassion flowing through you.
I am going to put a cap of Compassion on your head today if you will receive it. Will you? Actually Compassion already rests in your heart, but I will put this extra cap on you today to help you acknowledge that you do have it.
Step out a little more today. Notice people around you, and then ask Me who really needs Compassion. There will be someone just waiting for you.”
