Hope for Weariness
“Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:2)
“Weariness is not My children’s bread. Weariness is not a part of My storehouse of supplies that I have to give you.
I give you joy and energetic strength. I don’t take or sap your supply of exuberance for life. No, I give you what is needed for life.
If there is a lack that you have today, then ask Me to give you what is needed to continue on your journey. Your path may have bumps in the road, but if I have the path laid out before you, then I plan to assist you in walking that path. I am not leading you down a dead end road for no purpose.
Look to the goal. Look to your future with hope. Whatever difficulties there are in traversing the potholes on your road are helping you gain more experience so you can be a mentor to others on this same road.
No, weariness is not My children’s bread. The food I give you is right from My banqueting table. Pick the nourishment that you need. Take a bite then go on your way with renewed energy and zeal. Look toward your goal. If I put it before you, then you will reach it. I don’t dangle a delicacy before you in order to disappoint you. You will win this race and receive the prize.”
