Take Possession
“Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, ‘We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.'” (Numbers 13:30)
“Read occasionally about the Israelites whining in the desert when Canaan was right in front of them. The Israelites wanted to go back to Egypt and slavery, rather than trust Me for the Promised Land. A bad report had been given about Canaan after it was explored, and it was believed. It was said that ‘The land we explored devours those living in it.’ (Numbers 13:32)
Realize that staying in or going back to your Egypt where I don’t want you any longer will cause you many problems. Progress only comes by moving forward according to My plan and pace. Certainly the new horizons look different. Think of each new sunrise. It is never the same, correct? Neither is a sunset.
Just step into each new day with purpose. Don’t assume that you can have your daily purpose written out on paper either. Your purpose will unfold and reach its end result as I guide you. Trust Me as you step into your Canaan daily to take possession of the land for as Caleb said ‘we can certainly do it.'”
