Be One with Me
“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.” (John 17:20-21)
“Welcoming Me and wanting Me to be an integral part of your daily life are 2 different things.
Haven’t you welcomed a person with a handshake or hug and smile then you both walk your separate ways? This happens all the time at meetings, church gatherings or interactions on the street.
I want more than this from you and with you. We can be one as My Son prayed. I answer every one of His prayers. Know that. We can actually be more than best friends. We can be attentive to each other’s needs as if they are our own needs.
Whoa, do I have needs? Oh, yes. I have a need for tenderness, attention and conversation. I have a need for genuine affection, thankfulness and obedience from My family. I need a listening ear, a tender heart of compassion and eyes that see the needs of others.
Can you supply My needs? You can if you become one with Me. Join Me now in walking in oneness, and you will never turn back to having a lack of purpose again.”
