Dispel Fear in Others
“I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.” (Psalm 34:4)
“Do you have an awareness of what is happening around you? There are splinters in fingers and cannonballs in hearts. The heaviness of fear is weighty. Fear can come from even a splinter, thinking that it will manifest into something larger.
Fear is not a part of what I want for you in your demeanor. Fear does exist and can be used as an agent to bring about a positive result.
Think of a child with a splinter. The splinter is removed by an older child or adult. The child is hugged, and a positive bond is made. The same is true with cannonball fears that bring heart heaviness. If the person is given time and attention from another person, the fear can be understood and relieved. Sometimes fear comes when there is no direct reason for it. So understanding it bends it into the positive side where it can be disarmed of its power.
Notice and be aware of what is happening around you, so you can be an agent to help others dispel their fear. Your workplace will then be better for them and you also, because fear guides a person away from their peace.”
