Past, Present, Future
“Give us today our daily bread.” (Matthew 6:11)
“What do these words ‘Past, Present, Future’ mean to you? Does fear, great emotion or a reminder of a lost intention come to your mind? Are there dreams and aspirations that are to be fulfilled? Where do you get your direction and encouragement to press forward?
I don’t want to tell you to look to Me and forget the Past. The Past has molded some of your mindsets — both positive and negative. The Past has given you more aim for the Future. The Past happened for a reason. I used it for the best possible purposes for you.
The important time to dwell is the Present. Think of the Present as the ‘stepping stone’ between the Past and the Future. Think of the Present as the time to clear your thoughts and make a difference. Whatever you do in the Present lays a plan for the Future and it also either validates or negates the Past.
Stand now in the Present. Make your mark today. Find good in the Present — the here and now. Relax and make a difference today in your Present, because the Future depends upon it.”
